With knowledge, of photojournalists working in the field, and photo news agencies pressured time critical environment, need to caption digital images with speed and accuracy. CaptionEdit bridges a gap both in the field and in the agency workspace with features of the software not found in expensive photo editing and image management software.

CaptionEdit has been successfully used in-house at MediaWeb & at Netphotograph and also in the field, now for over a year. The software is being released as a shareware program. Future versions will have added functionalities to be able to manage and administrate the DaMn? online solutions.
